Most marketplaces hit you with listing fees just to post an item, or bury a massive service fee at the end of the transaction. AuClose is different. Standard listings are completely free to post. We only get paid if you successfully sell your item and complete the handoff. No sale, no fee.
Buyer Fees
The price you bid is the price you pay. AuClose does not charge buyers any hidden premiums or transaction markups.
Buyer Premium / Service Fee
No hidden markups. You only pay your winning bid amount plus applicable local sales tax.
Bounty Board Counter-Offer
Charged only if you submit a counter-offer to a seller on the Bounty Board. Non-refundable.
Seller Fees
Our core fee is simple: a flat percentage of the final sale price. It covers payment processing, escrow holding, identity verification, and the platform itself.
Final Value Fee
10% of the final sale price, subject to a $0.65 minimum floor. Automatically deducted from your proceeds when you verify the pickup PIN.
Optional Listing Upgrades
Sellers can optionally upgrade their listings with different auction mechanics or constraints. These fees are only deducted if your item actually sells. If your listing ends without a winner, you are not charged.
Arcade Engine Access Free with AuClose+
Use a non-Standard auction engine (Silent, The Drop, FairMatch, or Blitz) instead of the default ascending auction.
